‘I want my cake and I want to eat it’
I notice a lot of people on the news complaining that the council hasn’t gritted the pavement or road of their quiet residential street. In some appalling cases this is despite the person in question having phoned the relevant authorities!
I do wonder how many of these outraged complainers pass the warmer months petitioning for higher council tax and celebrating the rise of The Nanny State.

Hi Gretchen! I’m doing 4 at a time, because I’m semoltaniuusly adding them to Flickr, and didn’t want to overwhelm my Flickr stream with photos of my feet :) And yes, I’m using my 28 everyday to try to get some continuity with the placement of my feet. In hindsight, I probably should have used my 20mm, but it’s manual focus (old lens from my Dad) and not sure I’d always want to focus manually! Thanks for the nice comments :)
